“Iced Lime Tea”

Iced Lime Tea

Book – “Juices” by “Elsa Petersen-Schepelern”


4 cups freshly made tea, lightly brewed

sugar, to taste

1-2 unwaxed limes, finely sliced

ice cubes

mineral water, lemonade, or gingerale

Serves 4

  • Strain the tea, stir in the sugar, then cool and chill.   Put sliced limes in a pitcher, then half-fill it with ice cubes.  Half-fill the jug with the cold tea, then top up with mineral water, lemonade, or gingerale, stir, and serve.
